liability of those overments must centre on the respective financial settlements arranged between them and Hia: Majesty's Government; however we feel that the questions at issue could more usefully be discussed at a meeting of the departments concerned than in correspondence, and we shɔuld like to suggest that such a meeting should be called as soon as those involved have had time to digest the despatches.
